Sol Weber with jeep bumper marked 509 PI and HQ 6 signifying that is was the 6th vehicle in Headquarters Company, 509th PIB. This was the jeep for the communications section. Reels of commo wire are in the trailer. The bumper also shows the embarkation marking. This appears to be a Ford GPW. Southern France 1944
