There are several projects that listed below in which people have contacted me for more information. You may have information which will help them.
1. Veteran Dick Fisco has requested that he would like to locate photos of the following personnel who were on the fatal crash to add to a monument in Southern France that honors them. Please contact me at webmaster@509thgeronimo.org The plaque reads as follows:
Here at dawn on August 15,1944, on board one of the numerous C-47's, 17 parachutists of Company B of the 509th Battalion jumped into the waters of the Gulf of Saint-Tropez to liberate France. Not one of them was ever found.

2.bretjob@heartlandamerica.com has requested information on Lt. Boyce Nunnally and the Isola Patrol in which Lt. Nunnally and other members of the
patrol were captured in September 1944. He is trying to find the names of the rest of the patrol to contact them or find out what happened to them.
He is in contact with Lt. Nunnally who remembers those who were apart of the 509th but there were others on the patrol from Aberdeen Proving
Grounds that he did not know well.
3. sjostrom@gate.net relative of Stanley D. Sjostrom B CO 504th PB, E CO 2nd BN 509th PIR is requesting more information concerning his time in the service and would like to meet anyone who remembers him.
