JOHN S. WEBSTER 509/WWII MEDIC/HQ
"Local hometown heroes...a pair, actually...used some "pull" from the company clerk of a local National Guard unit to get into action in WWII. They were John Webster (Silver Star) and Warren Spencer (Purple Heart)."
"John later became the big wig of the National Manufacturers Association, having helped originate the Pennsylvania Manufactures Association. Spencer attended Dickinson Law School, became an attorney and a representative in the PA State Legislature."
